Present Indefinite Passive Voice | Explanation and Examples in Hindi

Present Indefinite Passive Voice plays a vital role in English Speaking. It helps speakers to speak in a formal style. Passive Voices are widely used in the writing part but it doesn’t mean that we don’t use them in Speaking.

Definition of Present Indefinite Passive Voice can be understood as the same as the Definition of Present Indefinite Tense. There is no such a big difference in nature and behavior but in format.

As we have already discussed passive voice rules in the previous blog. So, now we will only learn that how to make sentences of simple present passive voice.

An action that shows habit or regular action in absence of direct-action doer (Subject) is known as Present Indefinite Passive Voice.

Example-

The letter is read.

The letter is read by me.

Both above sentences are present indefinite passive voice examples in English.

The time when we have/want to speak our daily routine, universal truth, or habits then we use Present Indefinite Tense Sentences. Right? But in the case of Passive Voice, we just need to change the way of sentence. Important point subject should be missing.

How to make passive sentences of Present Indefinite | The 6 Conditions

Simple

Object1 + is/am/are + V3 + Object2.

यँहा इंग्लिश पढ़ाई जाती हैं।

English is taught here.


Negative

Object1 + is/am/are + not + V3 + Object2.

यँहा इंग्लिश नहीं पढ़ाई जाती हैं।

English is not taught here.

 

Interrogative

Is/Am/Are + object1 + V3 + Object2?

क्या यँहा इंग्लिश पढ़ाई जाती हैं ?

Is English taught here?

 

Interrogative Negative

Is/Am/Are + object1 + not + V3 + Object2?

क्या यँहा इंग्लिश नहीं  पढ़ाई जाती हैं?

Is English not taught here?

 

Double Interrogative

W/H family + is/am/are + object1 + V3 + Object2?

यँहा इंग्लिश क्यों पढ़ाई जाती हैं?

Why is English taught here?

 

Double Interrogative Negative

W/H family + is/am/are + object1 + not + V3 + Object2?

यँहा इंग्लिश क्यों नहीं पढ़ाई जाती हैं?

Why is English not taught here?

 

In the above conditions, I have used Object1 and Object2 in formulae but Why? The answer is so simple, as we already know in passive voices, the subject is always missing in direct mode. That’s the reason for using “object” in place of “Subject”.
